At the annual Black and White Photographer of the year awards Les Forrester's entry won the Technology Category sponsored by Nik Software.

Les took his photo on the Spring 2011 Iron and Steam Workshop on the North York Moors Railway.

You can see Les's photo here and in print at the Print Space Gallery, London until the end of October.

This year we are returning to the wilds of the Lincolnshire Coast for another of our One Day Specials.


A day's instruction accompanied by the Grey Seals of Donna Nook. Cost for the day is £85 and more info can be found on the Workshops Page.

Many of you have emailed to ask if and when the workshops will be returning and the good news is that they are.

We are currently putting together a calendar for 2010 with new locations and ideas.

We are also looking at the possibility of running a workshop with the seals of Donna Nook this winter.
