Guests of all levels come to learn basics, to advance in their craft and to hone their techniques before they make that move to professional level.

ONE ON ONE WORKSHOP DAYS (8 hours approx) are available by arrangement at a cost of £300 or 2 people for £470.






1st November 2008: PRINT AND COLOUR MANAGEMENT DAY. 10am-4pm
Solve the conundrums of colour management and the problems with printing. Join us for a day in Dorset at the Southscape Studios and learn the ins and outs of achieving the best quality prints and the pittfalls to avoid.
The day begins at 10am with a look at colour management within your workflow before moving on to print output on both Epson and Canon Printers. This workshop will suit those who already have a basic understanding of the subject.
The day is limited to 4 guests at a cost of £95/pp.
(Accomodation and food is not included in our One Day workshops but there will be plenty of coffee and biccies.)

2ND NOVEMBER 2008: STUDIO LIGHTING TUITION DAY.
Baffled by your softbox and perplexed by your reflector? A whole day at Southscape Studios to help you untangle the mystery of studio lighting with both flash and continious tungsten lighting.
Learn how to read and meter for the light, use light modifiers and look at the four basic lighting set-ups and ways of using them for effect and result.
(There will be models involved in the workshop but the day is not about glamour photography and is open to students of all ages)

22nd November 2008. ONE DAY SPECIAL - THE SEALS OF DONNA NOOK.
Donna Nook on the Lincolnshire Coast is one of the best locations to see and photograph Grey Seals in the UK. Starting out at 10am, you will be accompanied by professional photographers and people who understand the subject and the environment you will be shooting in. You'll pick up great tips and be able to relax and concentrate on getting the shots you've always dreamt of.
The day can be bought online or payable on the day but you will need to let us know you are coming as we will have to limit numbers.
