Nursery Fields

I'd seen this barn on the hillside from the road on my way to Bakewell. It was clear from it's position in the landscape that it needed a mid morning sun to light it...if it was going to oblige at all. To achieve the angle and keep the composition tight, I opted for a long lens and set up by the side of a busy road.
It was to my surprise and, after a couple of lorries thundering by, relief that the very light I wanted happened after only ten minutes of waiting....and the lucky part was that the sheep and her lambs stayed right where I wanted them.
