Padley Gorge

Padley Gorge near Grindleford, where Burbage Brook tumbles over moss covered rocks beneath the dappled shade of ancient woodland. It is a place full of magic and beauty and after years of neglect is now beginning to enjoy the protection it deserves.

Here I wanted to connect the gentle movement of the beech tree with the flow of the water.
