Final Days

It is without doubt the most photographed boat in Northumberland and I don't suppose that the lobster pots and rope had been placed there by any fisherman as The Magpie holds no place in their hearts. It is just a working tool that no longer does the job for which it was created. There was a threat that it would be put on the bonfire at this years (2007) firework display. Maybe it is time for it to go after all.
